Ethan wanted a Phineas and Ferb cake this year. In the past I would ask him what kind of cake he wanted, he would tell me, and I would make it. This year he told me, then watched me make it and then told me it was wrong and I needed to fix it. Haha! The bottom part of the cake was supposed to be Perry the Platypus. I didn't want to put a tail on him because the back of the cake was a little ugly and I didn't want to draw attention to it. Ethan came into the kitchen and said, "Where is Perry's tail?" I told him I wasn't going to put a tail on him. He replied, "He has to have a tail! Perry has a tail...you need to put a tail on him." I told him I'd think about it and then conveniently forgot ;o)
His party was a lot of fun and he got some pretty cool gifts. We/he truly is blessed with MANY amazing friends and family! Thanks to everyone who helped us celebrate.

Valerie you are just so good at birthday cakes!!!! My poor boys always got the same thing - just a cake with some candles. Well sometimes I bought one special at the store!!! Love you and glad you are such a great mom and wife!!!
